Dr. Nicole Straker M.Sc., D.V.M

Dr. Straker is new to Canada and is currently a Provisional Supervised Veterinarian in BC. Having achieved her DVM from the University of the West Indies and her Masters degree in Animal Behaviour in England, Dr. Nicole had her own mobile vet practice in Trinidad and Tobago along with lots of work with the SPCA in that area. She recently moved to Canada to pursue better career opportunities and to work with people who share her passion for animals.

Aside from completing her exams for her BC Vet License (she has completed her written exams) – Netball, Ultimate Frisbee, Tennis, Badminton, Hiking and Latin Dancing are just some of her hobbies. Hopefully her mixed breed dog from Trinidad and Tobago will join her here before too long!
