Grooming and Nail Trimming

Cats should occasionally have their coat trimmed. Since their hair can become painfully matted or they may be unable to groom their privates, clipping your cat’s hair could be beneficial to their health. As your cat may be boarded all day with other cats, please make sure that your cat is up to date with their FVRCP vaccine.

What grooming services does the clinic provide?

Our technicians and assistants offer lion cuts, spot shapes and nail trims. Nail trims can be done without any sedation as long as your cat is not too stressed. If your cat is very stressed, we might suggest some light sedation to help with the process. All of our hair grooming is done on sedated cats only, since this is often a very stressful procedure for them. Your cat will be given medication to make them relaxed and sleepy. The technician performs the cut, and the cat wakes up with a brand-new look. No stress involved.
